What is it about
Despite witnessing record-breaking temperatures in the past couple of years, people still don’t realize how their micro-actions can help mitigate climate change disasters. Something as simple as taking more trains can help contribute to 76% less CO2 emissions than driving a car.
However, people in the EU with disposable incomes still prefer taking their cars out for leisure trips, a fairly common drive route being Munich-Milan. Our outdoor campaign is directed at these folks. Targeting them at gas stations across highways, we want to raise awareness around the shocking impact of climate change and how it now impedes their daily activities, urging them to take the rail route.

BACKSTAGE STORIES
This project started within JvM Spree and developed as a student work for Trainline, the brand that perfectly stands behind the message and simple choice of using fewer cars on an everyday basis. The trend of using cars as ovens has been getting more and more popular which perfectly demonstrates that the effects of climate change are not something in the distant future, it is what we are already experiencing.
